Al Geemi Contracting Company LLC proudly announces the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for advanced switchgears. These switchgears are part of the company’s latest Primary Power Station project in Abu Dhabi. As a result, this milestone supports the timely delivery of the project. It also confirms Al Geemi’s commitment to quality and performance.
First Contractor to Secure ADDC Type Test Approval
Notably, Al Geemi became the first contractor to secure Type Test Approval from Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) for this switchgear model. Therefore, this approval highlights the company’s strong engineering capability. It also confirms compliance with ADDC technical standards.

FAT Conducted in the Czech Republic
The FAT took place in the Czech Republic from 31 July to 3 August 2023. During this period, representatives from Al Geemi, ADDC, and the Engineer’s Office witnessed the tests. The switchgears passed all performance, safety, and reliability checks.
