Al Geemi has successfully completed the Razeen Tie-in Shut Down with DN1000 TRANSCO Pipeline

As one of the project’s final activities, on 17 December 2022 Al Geemi has achieved yet another major milestone by completing all Shutdown and Connection Works with TRANSCO Main Water Line.

The aforesaid shutdown was made for a DN 1000 Transco main water line that extends to Al Ain and comes as part of the External Infrastructure Works for Razeen Labour Cities in South Al Wathba project as awarded by Musanada with a value exceeding AED 400 M.

The shutdown activity comprises all associated chambers construction and accessories fixture works including, but not limited to, the flow control value chambers (FCV), the motorized value chambers (MOV), and the flow meter chambers (FM).

Similarly, other main lines with different sizes and lengths exist, as parts of the project Scope of Works, including 2,400 linear meters of DN 800 line, 4,800 linear meters of DN 700 line, 5,500 linear meters of DN 600 line etc.

In an appreciation email Eng. Abdulla Mohammed Al Kamali, the water engineering specialist at Transco writes that "It was well prepared, smoothly progressed and finished ahead of time".
